aka Occupy Karaoke. Think of it like a karaoke advent calendar. Details, photos and videos, posted here and on our twitter page: https://twitter.com/#!/OccupyKaraoke

Night Seventeen/Eighteen. House party at our friends Jen & Todd’s. It was a hybrid holiday and birthday party, and it was EPIC!

Night Fifteen/Sixteen. Smog Cutter.

Night Fourteen. Happy Hour at Max Karaoke.

Night Twelve/Thirteen. Bigfoot Lodge.

Night 9, East Coast edition: Occupy Karaoke came to NYC! Karaoke Duet’s songbook featured a number of holy grail songs — “Ain’t No Fun,” “Trapped in the Closet - Pt. 1,” and yes, “Rape Me.” (Though no one touched the Jenn Murphy classic.)

"And if you’ve been meaning to do more karaoke all year, now is the time with Occupy Karaoke. They are doing 25 days of karaoke at various venues around LA, which they call “an advent calendar” of karaoke. For details follow them on Twitter @occupykaraoke."

Night Nine/Ten. Smog Cutter.

Night Eight. Tonight we discovered just how seriously Max Karaoke takes cleaning. “Sister Christian” closed out the night. And I think just maybe the lyrics in that first photo are the unofficial Occupy Karaoke motto.

Night Seven. Happy hour at Max Karaoke. Tonight we discovered that the video for Blue Oyster Cult’s “Don’t Fear the Reaper” is pretty amazing.
